Small theatre tours followed including pantomime in South Wales playing the part of Dick Whittington and small television parts including being a betting office clerk in Coronation Street... yes Elizabeth was the original Liz MacDonald! During this time Elizabeth continued to sing, not only classically but also pop, and she wrote and recorded her own material and sang regularly in a rock / blues band "Ice cold in Alec's". In 1993 Elizabeth embarked on a post graduate vocal course at The London College of Music, studying with Pamela Bowden, and then achieved a Masters Degree in Opera Performance at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music, Glasgow studying with Patricia MacMahon. Elizabeth has performed in many countries including singing at the La Tour de France summer music festival, the Stone Bell in Prague, the Dresden Festival and a live broadcast from St. Stephan's Cathedral in Vienna. In addition, Elizabeth regularly sings in the Midlands region and across the U.K. with orchestras, choral societies and choirs performing in concerts, oratorio and recitals. Recent performances have included the Messiah at Worcester Cathedral, her third appearance at the Shugborough Hall Proms Spectacular and open air performances with the English Symphony Orchestra at the West Midland Safari Park Summer Symphony concert and at the Malvern Music Experience concert.
